2012 Great Plains Tour (June 18th – 23rd)

This season the Alabama Storm Trackers will hit the plains once again for a tour of the region in search of natures fury and the worlds most dangerous and explosive storms.  We will depart late on June 18th and return June 23rd for a 6 day journey that will include chasing as much as humanly possible…visiting several historical and national landmarks….learning meteorology from top to bottom (field, operational, and some field broadcast tactics)…along with making some great contacts in the weather world with storm chasers, broadcast meteorologists, and operational meteorologists.  So sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.  The following are the details involving the trip…

  • Total Cost: $1300.00 (Includes lodging and travel costs)
  • $300 NON-Refundable Deposit (Due Immediately)
  • Additional costs to customer: Meals and suveniors
  • Pack LIGHTLY….small suitcase and a camera bag

“Twisted Tours” are a product of the Alabama Storm Trackers. We reserve the right to make all decisions while on any storm tour in terms of target area and any lodging locations. When participating in a local storm tour we allow ONLY the following items: 1 camera bag, a small suitcase, small snacks/drinks.
